Drugstore Discoveries: L’Oreal Sublime Bronze Luminous Bronzer Self-Tanning Lotion Review & Swatches

L’Oreal Paris Sublime Bronze Luminous Bronzer Self-Tanning Lotion ($9.99)

Released in February 2009, L’Oreal’s Sublime Bronze Luminous Bronzer Self-Tanning Lotion is one of those products that will give you a touch of sun-kissed color on a recessionista’s budget! I’m a little sad I didn’t happen upon this sooner, as it would have made a great addition to my self-tanning guide that I posted a few weeks back.

Swatch of Sublime Bronze (oooh the pretty shimmers!)

Sublime Bronze Luminous Bronzer Self-Tanning Lotion not only smells delicious (like pineapple and cantaloupe and other fruity refreshing goodness!), but it also contains light-reflecting micropearls to create a slightly luminous, streak-free glow immediately post-application.

Sublime Bronze has the consistency of a light gel and absorbs quickly, meaning no stickiness, plus it’s rich in Vitamin E to hydrate your skin while your faux tan develops.

This isn’t one of those products that’s going to develop into a really deep tan after a single application, but rather one of those buildable products meaning if you’re not really going for the super-tanned beach goddess look and just want the look of a hint of sun, this should do the trick!

Availability: At http://www.lorealparis.com and chain drug, food, and mass market retailers nationwide.
