Guerlain ‘Ombré Éclat Exotic Paradise’ Eyeshadow Palette ($58)
A garden of delights…. The famous compact designed by Herve Van Der Straeten takes on bucolic tones and bronze hues and is etched with a bird of paradise. Ombré Éclat 4 Shades introduces four radiant and pearly shades, which you can use alone or mix together.
There’s so much I like about Guerlain’s spring release, and this stunning palette is definitely at the top of my list. Everything from the etched exterior of the palette to the elegant interior calls to me. Not that I’ll necessarily be purchasing this, since at $58 it’s quite the splurge!
Guerlain ‘Kiss Kiss’ Gloss ($29)
Forbidden fruit…. Dressed in bronze, specially for spring, come three new glosses with evocative names: Orange Interdite, Cerise Tentation and Pomme du Desir. Perfect for deliciously tempting, fresh and plump lips, veiled in sheer sparkle.
While I usually hate all things orange, Orange Interdite seems to be more of a bright tangerine shade that I’m thinking I can pull off. I’m actually really into all three of these glosses, with Cerise Tentation being my top pick simply for the fact that it looks like such a bright and happy green in the tube, plus I can justify the purchase since I don’t own any green gloss.
Guerlain ‘Ombré Éclat’ Eyeshadow Primer ($34) and Guerlain ‘Ombré Éclat 1 Shade’ Single Eyeshadow ($34)
Eyeshadow Primer: The ultimate beauty innovation. Ombré Éclat Eye Primer is composed of smoothing and priming elements, ensuring long-lasting color and a youthful look. By eliminating creases and reviving the eye in one single step, the eyelid is now exquisitely smooth and ready for makeup application.
Single Eyeshadow: Ombré Éclat 1 Shade is the largest single-eyeshadow product on the market. Intense and long-lasting colors allow for light and delicate eye makeup or a more sophisticated, dramatic effect, always with an impeccable finish. Available in many different shades to collect and match according to your mood.
A good shadow primer can work wonders: your makeup will look brighter, wear better, and last longer, all with the simple sweep of an effective primer across your lids. Guerlain’s concept of combining an eyeshadow primer and a reviving eye treatment into one product is therefore pure genius, if it works. I’ll definitely be checking this out!
